With more than 20 years of experience in large district energy operations, Steve Martin serves as CenTrio’s Chief Operating Officer. He leverages extensive expertise in design-build-finance-operate-maintain (DBFOM) concessions and has successfully delivered a number of complex projects from the design-build phase through commissioning and operations for CenTrio, including the Syracuse University and LSU projects. The business model for these projects has been developed, tested, adjusted, and now extended to 2050 under Steve’s leadership. 

 

Steve holds a bachelor’s degree in science from Wentworth Institute of Technology. 

Prior to joining CenTrio, Steve served as the Chief Information Officer of Generation Trading and Transmission at Entergy. He is a respected leader who enjoys seeking new business opportunities. He has a proven track record of achievements through high-impact contributions and is an active member of the International District Energy Association (IDEA). He also leads the Safety and Emergency Preparedness effort for CenTrio.
